I had multiple I.V. lines pumping vital fluids into me and I can remember trying to rip them out along with the tube that they had in my throat to assure that I had the necessary oxygen being taken into my lungs. I remember the psychiatrist being there looking at me with a disappointed look on his face that also couldve been taken for pity as I wasnt exactly coherent enough to do my usual face expression recognition. I don’t wanna forget the present is a gift That was the thought that flashed through my mind when my shaky hand handed the receptionist my debit card and i couldnt look anymore. I had to turn away while she swiped it , marked paid on the paperwork, then told me to sit.. Called me back up to the window and I thought the debit card was going to float away now being … gulps .. 150 dollars lighter. I had to put my hand over the card and guide it back into my wallet.. it was like a helium filled ballon after that. I wont even go into how hard it is to keep it from making my ass look like its uneven now because it wants to keep floating away.
