Its been a long time since Ive seen your face,
Im not sure how we’ve come to meet in this place,
It was years ago that we that we said our goodbyes.
Seeing him now brings a tear to my eye.
The time youve been gone Ive aged a bit,
Ive spent so much time ignoring your shit.
Yet here you stand like time stood still,
Youve stood in the background holding that pill.
It was just yesterday and you weren’t in sight.
Now that your here Im willing to fight.
If there was just one thing that I could say,
Would that one thing send you on your way?
Are you just going to stand there or follow me around,
Will you influence my thoughts without making a sound?
I wish I could say something to keep you at bay
Is there any thing at all that will make you go away.
A smile on his face sneer in his eye,
He motions to me to look up and points towards the sky.
In the cloud that appears I can see images abound,
Passages of life that also had sound.
In only a moment the screen played its part,
I stood there in silence to the end from the start.
In such little time he showed me my fate,
I had struck home the nails that burdened my mate.
The mist disappeared just as fast as it came,
Every thing that was shown was seared in my brain.
Now standing there inches from my old friend,
I had this freaky little feeling that this is the end.
The light faded fast till I lost all of my sight,
The man just stood there as I gave up the fight.
Alone in the darkness the man disappeared,
Only me there head bowed and the rest of my fears
Then in the darkeness these words came to light
Good luck being alone during the day and at night.
Not much i could do now but sit there and see,
Is there anyone else here or just lonesome ole me.
